Glenfiddich 21 is a single malt scotch whisky distilled at the award-winning Glenfiddich Distillery in Scotland’s famed Speyside region. Unlike Glenfiddich’s other whiskies, however, Glenfiddich 21 has a Caribbean twist.After maturing for 21 years under the watchful eye of Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman, select barrels of scotch are finished in Caribbean rum casks.The underlying flavors of the whisky are representative of the Glenfiddich range—baking spices, caramel and dry wood. The addition of the rum casks gives Glenfiddich 21 an extra warmth, and infuses flavors of ginger, lime, banana and caramel. In 2015, Glenfiddich 21 took home honors as Best Scotch Malt Whisky 21 Years or Over at the International Spirits Challenge Awards. The same year, it won a Master Award at the 2015 Scotch Whisky Masters.
