Akashi Meisei is a Japanese blended whiskey, made from the blend of Single Malt and grain whiskeys.
Aged in American oak barrels, Akashi Meïsei is a high quality blend comprising 45% malted barley and developing woody and spicy notes, on a nose of oak and vanilla.
Eigashima Distillery
The Akashi brand remains faithful to the philosophy of the Eigashima distillery. It now offers a range of complementary artisanal whiskies, called “Ji-Whiskies” in Japan, composed of two blended whiskeys and four single malts. The latter each benefit from aging or finishing in different types of highly sought-after barrels. Akashi crystallizes here all the know-how of an entire generation of local artisans accustomed to producing traditional eaux-de-vie.
