What would you play?

The goal with this song was to not only learn to play the song, but to also try my luck at recording it in studio-like conditions and see if I could pull it off, much the way a professional musician would. The audio is recorded straight from the Aerodrums software (which sounds exactly like recording in studio) - I had Uptown Funk listed on my playlist. When you export you have the option of exporting the song and drums together or just the drums. You can even export each element separately. For those wondering about the quality of the Aerodrums and if they're really worth it, well I'm pretty much proof of concept. I learned to play from scratch on them (I've played some guitar and done some beatboxing in my time, but never learned anything formally, and I certainly never knew how to count music properly). At first my teacher came to my place and taught me on the Aerodrums, and once I was comfortable I started going to his studio for lessons where I practiced on his acoustic kit. The switch to the acoustic was pretty effortless, even the first time - and it only took a few minutes to warm up and get the feel and I was ready to pick up where we left off. Currently I play on his acoustic set at the studio during lessons, then practice on my Aerodrums at home. The space I'm playing in this video is the same spot where my wife and I run our photography and videography business from every day of the week, and we live in a flat. The fact that I can go from office to drum room in about 5 minutes of set up time is incredible, and the fact that I've been able to get tons of practice in at late hours with my headphones on are some serious benefits. I keep an old hifi amp and a nice Bose speaker up in the cupboard behind me which is excellent for when I feel like getting loud or jamming with other musicians.
