This Teeling 32 Year Old Purple Muscat Irish Whiskey is a rare and limited edition whiskey that has been aged for 32 years in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Muscat wine barrels. This whiskey has a deep golden colour and a complex aroma of dried fruits, honey, toasted oak and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with notes of dried fruits, honey, toasted oak and a hint of spice. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of sweetness.

Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is a wholly unique style within Irish whiskey, pushing the boundaries of convention, at the intersect of where old meets new. Crafted using an unconventional mash bill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley, this whiskey has been triple distilled and matured exclusively in French oak Ex-Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks from California, producing a truly unique Irish whiskey.

Inspired by the old ancient Blackpitts area just behind the new Teeling Whiskey Distillery based in Newmarket in the old Liberties area of Dublin City, this area was synonymous with many industries and in particular malting houses. Blackpitts was traditionally home to some of the largest barley malting houses in Ireland.
