En 2020, quatre étudiants en conception de jeux à l’University of Applied Science de Berlin (HTW Berlin), Luca Langenberg, Sandro Heuberger, Timo Falcke et Zwi Zausch, fondaient le studio Toukana Interactive afin de concevoir leur tout premier jeu vidéo, Dorfromatik, tout en finissant leur maîtrise en Game System Design.
