Newborn Feet: Common Deformities

When children are born, adoring parents often joke about their new baby having 10 fingers and 10 toes. In reality, anything different is pretty rare (and not as bad as you might think). More common is seeing feet that point in different directions. Sometimes this is due to the bab​y being squished in a small space—if the uterus was crowded, for example.
