The LifeVac School Kits are suggested to be placed in the Principal’s office (Home Kit) for practice, the cafeteria, the nurse’s office, and the PE instructor’s office. The LifeVac comes with two mask sizes - adult and pediatric. One (1) LifeVac School Kit contains the following: Four (4) LifeVac Suction Devices Total of four (4) adult, and four (4) pediatric masks One (1) Home Kit (1 adult mask, 1 pediatric mask, and 1 practice mask) Three (3) EMS kits (each containing 1 adult and 1 pediatric mask) Instructions for use Choking & preventative literature Information page No prescription required The LifeVac is a portable, convenient, and easy-to-use Airway Clearance Device (ACD) designed to remove airway obstructions when standard protocol has been performed without success. This ACD has been created using a one-way valve that prevents air from pushing an obstruction further downwards, but suctions the obstruction upwards clearing the airway. The suction generates negative pressure that is 3 times greater than the highest choke pressure recorded! Note: Pediatric size is not equipped to be used on patients weighing less than 22lbs (based on the manufacturer general guidelines, 22lbs is the recommended minimum weight for a proper fit).
