The History of Grand Marnier - TASTE cocktails
Featured in a couple of TASTE kits, this orange liqueur is great both on its own and in cocktails. Created in 1880 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle.
Introduced in 1977, Grand Marnier Cuvee Louis Alexandre is a tribute to the founder of Grand Marnier brand, Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle. Same as the classic Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, Cuvee Louis Alexandre combines the essence of exotic bitter oranges with higher quality cognac. Grand Marnier Cuvee Louis Alexandre contains 40% ABV and combines 82% of VSOP cognac (Very Superior Old Pale) and 18% of orange liqueur.
