But how few are actually able to dedicate so many years to the study of this instrument ! And so it often happens that, due to insufficient practice, the performance sounds uneven and incorrect.
The left hand gets stuck at most somewhat difficult passages, the fourth and fifth fingers are practically non-existent due to the lack of special exercises for these fingers which are always weaker than the others. And if you come across passages with octaves, tremolos or trills, they are often performed with difficulty and some effort - the result being a rather incorrect performance completely devoid of expression.
