COBI 5531 Bombardier britannique VICKERS WELLINGTON MK. IC

The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine basic WWII night bomber. After October 1940 it was also used by the Polish aviation in Great Britain. This extremely successful plane was produced from 1937 until the end of the war in 1945. It was created in many different variants which differed in equipment but not in the basic design. Due to their low maneuverability, the Wellingtons flew mainly at night. They were also perfect for coastal patrolling and as submarine hunters.
