Clément VSOP is a rhum agricole that has been aged for one year in virgin French oak barrels and then three years in re-tanned ex-bourbon barrels. It was awarded gold by the Beverage Testing Institute and also received 96 out of a possible 100 points from Wine Enthusiast magazine. Clément VSOP is a Rhum Vieux Agricole from one of Martinique's oldest estates, dating back to 1887. Even today, the rums produced at Maison Clément follow the old traditions inherited by founder Homère Clément and his son Charles. It is made from pure sugar cane juice. The nose shows spicy notes of toasted wood, dried and candied fruits, coffee and cocoa. On the palate, it harmoniously follows the olfactory notes. The finish is smooth, with hints of bourbon. Its versatility makes it ideal for drinking at any time of the day.
