Our spin on a classic Japanese Katsu Curry. Crispy chicken, house made katsu curry sauce, fresh brown rice tossed in a sesame dressing, and Japanese slaw. A definite crowd pleaser for the whole family.

Our meal kits come with fresh ingredients as well as a sauce, and are designed to be eaten soon after delivery with minimal prep time.

Serving Instructions

Stove Top

  • Pre-heat an oven to 200 degrees (180 degrees fan forced). Line a medium-sized baking tray with baking paper. Open the chicken schnitzels and place onto the baking tray. Place tray into oven and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Place a small saucepan on medium heat and pour the Katsu Curry Sauce into the pot. Heat for 4-5 minutes. Do not let the curry sauce boil. Set aside.
  • Place the brown rice into a large microwaveable container and heat on high for 4 minutes in a 1000kw microwave. Set aside.
  • Once the chicken schnitzel has finished cooking, place onto a chopping board and slice into thin strips.
  • In a small serving bowl, place warm rice, katsu sauce and chicken schnitzel. Top with the fresh and crunchy Japanese slaw. Enjoy!
