D1 refills measure approximately 2.6 inches long, with a diameter of about 2.3 mm. Although there are a lot of refill options available, each APEX MINI will come pre-loaded with Fisher's #SU4F Fine Point Universal Type refill. Much smaller and thinner than the original APEX Pen (Fisher PR4 refill), you can still write in zero gravity, underwater, over wet and greasy paper, at any angle, and from -50 °F to 250 °F! We chose the Fisher cartridge as our included ink refill because it’s simply the best and most reliable one ever made.
