Paolo Saracco was the first person to introduce quality Moscato to the U. S. market, back in 1992, and Paolo has certainly earned his nickname, The Maestro of Moscato! Ian DAgata, well-known contributor to Vinous and Decanter, and one of Italys best-known wine experts, recently called Saracco the DRC of Moscato dAsti.

This white wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks until the alcohol level reaches desired level in which the perlage, or fizz, typical of Moscato is produced.
