Brown tripoli is a coarse cutting compound for removing scratches and surface imperfections. Used for general cutting down, scratch removal, buffing, and coloring on acrylics and non-ferrous metals like brass, copper, aluminum, die casting and more. Standard, fast cutting tripoli, used when rouge will be used for final finish. Polishing compounds in tubes or bars are characteristically hard.

This is the same wax formula as our Conservator's Wax, so if you already have a tin of that, you don't need this. Applied sparingly and polished to a sheen, the light, clear microcrystalline wax creates a barrier that inhibits corrosion and protects against moisture, airborne pollutants and finger marks. At the same time, it will gently remove grime and wax build-up. When used on a plane sole, machine table or fence it reduces friction, allowing smoother movement of workpieces.
